BEFORE I GO…Embracing the Journey of MAiD is a podcast hosted by Marion Brown and her daughter, Danielle Wilson-Brown, a mother-daughter team inviting listeners into one of the most personal journeys a family can share. 

Marion is a member of the Gitxaala Nation in BC and lives with Pulmonary Hypertension (PH), a chronic and progressive condition that has affected others in her family as well. Knowing what lies ahead, she has made the thoughtful and deeply personal decision to access medical assistance in dying (MAID) when the time feels right for her. 

On the podcast, Marion and Danielle sit down with guests, including friends and a range of professionals, to talk openly and honestly about what this path looks like. They explore MAID through an Indigenous lens, weaving together stories about family and ancestors, history and trauma, healing and love. The result is a series of conversations that are emotional, grounding, and profoundly human.
