Dying With Dignity Canada is seeking an experienced Manager, Volunteer Engagement and Chapter Development who can support our local chapters as they grow, develop, and deliver programs and services at the local level. The ideal candidate is flexible and diplomatic and able to support chapters of varying sizes, interests, and activities as they work within their local communities.
Dying With Dignity Canada’s Winnipeg Chapter is seeking a volunteer to assist with Advance Care Planning presentations and workshops. The volunteer must be comfortable with public speaking, possess basic computer skills, and be willing to travel within Winnipeg in order to host in-person events.
Reporting to the Director of Development, the Direct Mail Assistant volunteers will help our Development Team prepare for our upcoming December appeal. Before we mail out the packages, we have some sent to the office to add personalized notes (alongside and with guidance from our team) to our donors before sealing and sending them. We’re looking for three or more volunteers to help us sort this mail, prepare it, write notes, and then drop them in the mail.
