About Us

Barrie and Simcoe County Chapter started in 2024 as Dying With Dignity Canada’s 12th Chapter. Undaunted by size, the Chapter plans to serve the cities of Barrie and Orillia, the towns of Bradford West Gwillimbury, Collingwood, Innisfil, Midland, New Tecumseth (including Alliston, Beeton and Tottenham), Penetanguishene, and Wasaga Beach and the townships of Adjala-Tosoronto, Clearview, Essa, Oro-Medonte, Ramara, Severn, Springwater, Tay and Tiny.

As a new Chapter, we are focusing immediate efforts on:

  • Advocacy
  • Outreach
  • Sharing information about national issues and local events through social media
