About Us

Since 2014, the Ottawa Chapter of Dying With Dignity Canada has been offering workshops and presentations on preparing for future health care issues and end-of-life choices. The goal of these educational events is to encourage individuals and their loved ones to think about and express their wishes for health care and treatment at the end of life, including patient rights and Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD).  If you or your organization is interested in an educational event, please email ottawa@dyingwithdignity.ca.  If you are looking for an Independent Witness for your MAiD application form, please email witness@dyingwithdignity.ca.
