As part of Dying With Dignity Canada’s Learning Centre series, “Grief 101” DWDC will speak with Michelle Williams and Rachelle Bensoussan about what grief is, how people grieve, myths about grief and how to support someone who is grieving.  


Michelle Williams, co-founder of Being Here, Human. She holds a master’s degree in social work and has many years of experience, both personally and professionally, supporting bereaved individuals and those at the end of life. 

Rachelle Bensoussan, co-founder of Being Here, Human.  She holds a master’s degree in Thanatology, is a certified Thanatologist with the Association of Death Education and Counselling and has spent the last ten years building community-based bereavement programs for hospices across Southern Ontario. 

If you can’t attend on Tuesday, May 31, 2022, a recording will be posted on our website and emailed to all registrants. However, only those who attend the webinar live on May 31 will have the opportunity to ask questions of our speaker. If you have questions, you are also welcome to send them in ahead of time via the webinar registration.
