Tammy Pham practices as a Physician Assistant with a special interest in neurology.
Her work includes seeing patients in clinic, performing neurological examinations, reviewing with the supervising physician, ordering diagnostic and laboratory tests, writing prescriptions, and filling paperwork for insurance and disability benefits. She obtained her master’s in physician assistant studies (MPAS) at the University of Manitoba in 2019.
She has volunteered with Dying with Dignity Canada since 2014. She founded the first and only campus Chapter at the University of Ottawa in 2015 to educate young adults on end-of-life rights, issues, and medical assistance in dying. She continues to volunteer with the Winnipeg Chapter providing educational presentations on medical assistance in dying (MAID).
Tammy is also a researcher with a publication on end-of-life communication and decision-making. She has a Master of Science degree specialized in Cellular and Molecular Medicine from the University of Ottawa.
