Development Coordinator

Maggie has a passion for working in the non-profit sector. With over 15 years of experience managing teams in the client and customer relations field, she strives to connect with and support each person she meets with positivity and respect.

With a Bachelors in Psychology from the University of Guelph and a Master’s of Applied Linguistics and Discourse Studies, Maggie has spent many years studying how people build and maintain relationships and how to improve interpersonal communication.

As the Development Coordinator, Maggie is the first point of contact for DWDC-related inquiries and is excited to help our supporters stay connected and navigate their end-of-life care.

Outside of DWDC, Maggie enjoys hiking with her dog, Leo, or snuggling her cat, Binx, and is working toward creating more accessible mental health supports and studying animal-assisted therapy.
