Program Specialist
Kat is a registered nurse turned child and youth care practitioner who has 8+ years experience working with folks in all sectors of social work. From palliative and hospice care to homelessness, supporting folks with developmental disabilities and mental health, Kat has assisted folks of all ages through their highest highs and lowest of lows.
Kat is an emerging advocate who strives to create a compassionate, equitable, inclusive and supportive environment that is backed by therapeutic and person centred approaches aimed to foster a healthy connection.
Outside of DWDC, Kat is an avid foodie who is not afraid to try new things. Kat also enjoys going to the movies, sports events and playing with their cat, Artemis.
