Director, Government and Stakeholder Relations
Chris has worked in the Government Relations field for over 20 years, as a senior manager and Executive Director of a number of not-for-profit and for-profit associations. He has extensive federal policy, advocacy, and public affairs experience in a variety of sectors. He also spent nearly four years on Parliament Hill advising various politicians, including two cabinet ministers and a leader of an opposition party. Most recently he has worked in the housing/mental health field. Through this work, and time spent helping the food-insecure in his community, he has developed an understanding of the vulnerability which many Canadians experience in their lives. He was educated at Queen’s University, the London School of Economics, and Oxford University where he earned a Doctorate in political economy.
