The Disability Advisory Council (DAC) provides advice to Dying With Dignity Canada (DWDC) on all aspects of our mission from the perspective of individuals with a disability – including where disability of all forms (physical, and other) and chronic illness intersect with end-of-life rights.

The DAC uses their individual and collective knowledge of human rights and disability/chronic illness to examine these issues. Together, we address and clarify myths and misunderstandings in current narratives about MAID and disability communities.
