The health care practitioners who have taken a stand for compassionate choice at end of life.
The Clinicians Advisory Council (CAC) is comprised of over 30 clinicians who have volunteered to serve as supporters and advisors to Dying With Dignity Canada (DWDC). They reflect the voices of health care providers across the country.
Most members of this group are also medical assistance in dying (MAID) practitioners, and some are family physicians and nurse practitioners, or work in palliative care. DWDC benefits greatly from their lens as care providers. They deliver important insights into the realities of end-of-life care and MAID –both the progress and the challenges.
