Ottawa Chapter

A small group of Ottawa individuals joined forces eagerly in 2014 to establish an Ottawa chapter of Dying With Dignity Canada.

We have attracted a number of committed volunteers to lead advance care planning workshops, to speak out in the community about DWDC, the chapter and medical assistance in dying and to offer Independent Witness services.

As an example of the Ottawa Chapter's outreach efforts, click here to to access a letter/opinion piece regarding end-of-life choice written by Ottawa Chapter Chair, Susan Harrison in April 2021.
