The Niagara Chapter was created in 2016 by Jim Cooper and Nina Syrnyk, whose hard work launched a series of well-attended seminars on Advance Care Planning. The Niagara Chapter covers the entire Niagara Peninsula from St. Catharines to Niagara-on-the-Lake, to Fort Erie and Port Colborne.
Today, the team includes Patti Harris and Toby Cavers, who are available on request to bring the Advance Care Planning seminar to you.
To date, the Niagara Chapter of DWDC has been a small but passionate group of volunteers focused on education – but with so much demand for support and advocacy, we’re looking to expand our Chapter.
If you’re as passionate as we are about end-of-life rights, and are interested in meaningful volunteer opportunities close to home, we may have an opportunity available for you.
Specifically, we are looking for volunteers to:
- Assume the role of Chapter Chair
- Plan and schedule events for 2021
- Manage the Facebook page of Dying With Dignity Canada’s Niagara Chapter
If any of these opportunities sound like the right fit for you, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We would be more than happy to connect and provide additional details.
