Medical Assistance in Dying: Perspectives- Nepean- January 20th 2017

The Ottawa Chapter of Dying With Dignity Canada invites you to attend a panel discussion on the implementation of Medical Assistance in Dying (MAID), addressing the delivery of MAID, issues of access and the importance of effective referral by objecting medical practitioners. A question and discussion period will follow panelists remarks.

 We are pleased to announce that the panelists will include:

  • Shanaaz Gokool, CEO of Dying With Dignity Canada
  • Daphne Gilbert, Professor, Faculty of Law, University of Ottawa

Tea, coffee and water will be provided by our volunteers.

Parking is available at the rear of the building, but is limited. We encourage you to car pool or to take public transportation. The OC Transpo buses number 94, 95, 156, 172, 174, 178 stop at the corner of Tallwood and Woodroffe. Please note that this facility is scent-free and smoke-free.
