Death is a certainty for all of us, and we often have to surrender so much of our identity and autonomy on the way. Being able to access our constitutional right to die with dignity can provide the peace of mind of knowing we will not have to suffer needlessly at end of life. Having this right gives people more hope that when their time comes, they will have the choice of a gentler death.
