Dad chose MAID over suffering
On his last day, Dad was ready. He was in his own suite, in his favourite recliner, surrounded by those who loved him, not alone in a hospital bed. While an acoustic guitar played softly in the background, we lit candles and set up photographs of deceased family members who were waiting on the other side.
