Grappling with a catastrophic diagnosis and facing end of life is a stressful and vulnerable time. But it doesn’t have to be complicated and confusing. We’ve compiled a list of palliative and end-of-life care resources and support services in every province and territory to assist you and your loved ones during this difficult time.

For non-urgent health advice and information, you can contact HealthLink BC:

  • Call 8-1-1, or TTY at 7-1-1 for the deaf and hearing impaired (If your local telephone provider does not support 8-1-1, you may call 1-604-215-8110.)
  • By calling HealthLink BC, you will be connected with registered nurses who can provide health information and advice at any time day or night, every day of the year. Translation services are available in 130 languages.
