Looking Back: A History of Attitudes Toward Death and Dying

On March 31, Dying With Dignity Canada was joined by Olga Nikolajev to learn about the history of attitudes toward death and dying. Attitudes towards death and dying have shifted and changed throughout history. Individual situations can affect one’s attitudes; however, there are also social factors that influence how we view death and dying.

* Dying With Dignity Canada (DWDC) is grateful to have the participation of several diverse speakers and presenters in our webinar series. Please note that the nuanced views expressed in each session are the opinions of the individuals presenting them. They are not necessarily a direct reflection of the views of the organization.

Speaker:

Olga Nikolajev, Founder and Director of DyingMatters.ca, a death awareness and educational social enterprise and Founder and Director of the Death Doula Ontario Network.
