In this recorded webinar, Susan Cadell and Katherine Kortes-Miller discussed some of their own research on death, dying, and grief. They explored the importance of including conversations about grief in public spaces, outside of clinical and institutional contexts.

Speakers:

Susan Cadell is a social work researcher and professor in the School of Social Work at Renison University College at the University of Waterloo. 

Katherine Kortes-Miller is an assistant professor at the School of Social Work and the Associate Director of the Centre for Education and Research on Aging and Health (CERAH) at Lakehead University. She is the author of “Talking about Death Won’t Kill You: The Essential Guide to End-of-Life Conversations.”
