In this recorded webinar, DWDC learned from Dr. Melissa Melnitzer about the do’s and don’ts of being there for someone who is grieving. DWDC volunteer, Jenny Hasselman, shared her personal experience with grief following the death of her mom in 2018.
Speakers:
- Dr. Melissa Melnitzer is a physician who practices both mental health and palliative care. She is a writer, speaker, and facilitator of therapeutic writing workshops.
- Jenny Hasselman is a volunteer with DWDC’s First-Person Advocates’ Initiatives Council. Her journey with MAID began in July 2018 with the death of her mom.
