Donate to help us respond to unprecedented demand for support and education

We have set a fundraising target of $100,000.

We find ourselves stretching the limits of our internal capacity and resources.

Dying With Dignity Canada’s Support and Education staff are key players in the effort to improve quality of dying in Canada. We answer dozens of emails, phone calls and letters every single day to provide resources, tools and support for families navigating the complex MAID approval process.

Delays created by the Government of Canada have resulted in far-higher numbers of requests than we had anticipated for the first three months of 2024. Now, we find ourselves stretching the limits of our internal capacity and resources to answer every request. While we are prepared to shift our plans to further invest in this work, there are so many other areas that need investment, too.

Your generous gift goes toward:

  • Answering more requests for support from people and their loved ones — because no one deserves to feel alone in their end-of-life journey.
  • Offering more up-to-date educational resources — because everyone deserves to know their rights, options and requirements around end-of-life.
  • Facilitating more knowledge-sharing and presentations to external groups who provide health and community care — because we need our health care professionals to be informed and supported, too.
  • Reaching more federal decision-makers through our advocacy work, calling for critical amendments to our MAID law such as advance requests — because our rights should be made accessible to everyone who wants it.

Will you join Dying With Dignity Canada supporters across the country to raise $100,000 by May 5 — so that we can be there when people need our help?
