Give a gift in support of advance requests

We have set a fundraising target of $75,000 by April 14.

On February 15, 2023, the Special Joint Committee on Medical Assistance in Dying tabled its Final Report. In total, the Special Joint Committee presented 23 recommendations, including a recommendation to allow advance requests following a diagnosis of a serious and incurable medical condition disease, or disorder leading to incapacity.

The federal government has until June 15 to respond to these recommendations — meaning right now is our best opportunity to see meaningful changes to end-of-life choice and care for people across Canada.

We can’t lose momentum now.

Dying With Dignity Canada is putting all of our efforts into outreach and government engagement, so that every decision-maker understands that advance requests for assisted dying should be legal for those who choose it.

Donate today to help make this momentous change possible.
