Alison Jeffrey

Alison has devoted her career to the non-profit sector, inspiring individuals to support causes with meaning. She has worked on a number of issues including women’s rights, community economic development, social finance and mental health.

Alison holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Alberta and is a Certified Fundraising Executive. Her volunteer work includes 100 Women Who Care and Crossroads International. She is a mentor with the Cherie Blair Foundation for Women. Alison lives in Calgary with her border collie rescue, Mr. Beckett.

I believe strongly in the right to choose – throughout our best lives and as we approach our best deaths. Medical assistance in dying is a human right. It is the core around which we serve with empathy, intention and integrity. This work matters. Dignified deaths are at stake.
