When I first started to edit the newsletter, I was worried that it might be depressing. I'm 43, no signs of illness, and was apprehensive about focusing so much on dying. But, by the end, I felt seriously comforted knowing DWD exists.

Nagui Morcos is a DWD member, volunteer and client. Nagui has Huntington's Disease. After watching his father die slowly and painfully of the same disease, he has decided that he will determine the nature and timing of his own death.
In this podcast, Dr. Brian Goldman of White Coat Black Art interviews Nagui. While Dr. Goldman clearly struggles with the idea that someone of sound mind would choose death over life, we applaud his courage in being willing to tackle the subject of self-chosen death.
