Viewpoint

Our greatest freedom as human beings is the freedom of choice. The choices to live, work and interact with the world on our own terms make the difference between existing and living. A gentle death can bring incalculable comfort to a patient, their families and their loved ones. I believe that all Canadians should have the right to choose dignity and compassion at the end of their lives.
